FOUNDER
Hi! I’m Ms. Meghan, the founder teacher here at Virtual Piano Class!
My journey with the piano began as a young child, falling in love with music one note at a time. Growing my musical foundation through private lessons, band rehearsals, and being inspired by my great-grandmother, who ran her own piano studio, I discovered my passion for teaching early on. At 16, I began teaching beginner pianists, and I’ve never looked back! Sharing the joy of music has been my life’s passion ever since.
In 2018, I made the exciting transition to a fully virtual studio, blending my love for teaching with the power of technology. This change wasn’t just about going online, it was about creating a more accessible, flexible, and engaging way for students to learn piano. To push our studio to the front edge of virtual education, I earned my Master’s in Education, specializing in Learning and Technology. This education equipped me with the tools to design a virtual learning environment that’s effective while also being fun and personalized for every student.

Virtual Piano Class Today
Today, Virtual Piano Class welcomes students from around the world, including military families, digital nomad families, and international students. Flexibility and convenience are at the heart of what we do, but our focus is on making music lessons genuinely enjoyable with contemporary piano music and game-filled classes. From exploring new music to encouraging students to choose pieces they love, our studio strives to foster creativity and a lifelong passion for music.
This Fall, I’ll be embarking on the next chapter of my educational journey by pursuing a Doctor of Education in Instructional Systems Technology. I'm so excited to continue bringing our studio into the innovation stages of the world of virtual music education, ensuring that our studio remains a leader in providing high-quality, engaging, and forward-thinking piano lessons.
